Be a good listener. 5. Follow directions. The system currently in place is the card system. Each student has 5 cards. In order, the cards are green, orange, yellow, blue and red with green being best behavior. Students start the day on green. For each infraction, the card is flipped. Verbal/Nonverbal warnings are given prior to a card flip. Consequences for failure to follow the rules is listed below. Parents receive a weekly progress report which details the card color each day. There is also a code indicated on the progress report to show why the card was flipped on a specific day as shown below. Behavior: Monday:

The consequences for card flips are as follow: Green Card = Free Time, Treat at the end of day Orange Card = -5 Minutes Free Time, Treat at end of day Yellow Card = -10 Minutes Free Time, No Treat Blue Card = -15 Minutes Free Time, No Treat, Phone Call Red Card = Phone Call, Discipline Referral to the Administrator

Ice Cream Party Contest: The purpose of this contest is for the children to earn an ice cream sundae party by winning points for positive behavior. There will be a jar in the classroom. When the students are caught being good as a class, a marble will be placed in the jar. Once the jar is full, the students will then earn an ice cream sundae social.
